All school meals must be booked in advance using ParentPay.
Our catering company, Aspens, is passionate about serving fresh, high quality and locally sourced ingredients in our meals. They have a team of experienced and creative chefs that keep the menus exciting and tasty for your child to enjoy.
Aspens understand how important making the lunch decision is. You want to make sure that they eat at lunchtime, what they have is nutritionally balanced and that it fuels the rest of their learning day. If your child is not having school dinners then why not give them a try? They cost just £2.70 for KS2 children and of course, since September 2014, KS1 children eat for free!
Bubble & Squeak are Aspens school meal characters and they pop up throughout the term when there is a special menu and help to educate them around the importance of eating well. As our partnership with Aspens develops we will be able to offer children more opportunities to get hands-on with different foods with a spot of cooking thrown in for good measure!
NUT-FREE SCHOOL
Please remember we are a nut free school. Nut allergies can vary in severity. Children with a serious nut allergy don’t have to be in direct contact with nuts to have a reaction. Please check the labels on your child's snacks and do not bring anything that contains nuts to school, including things with Nutella-type fillings.
FREE SCHOOL MEALS
Not to be confused with the free school meals for all KS1 pupils, it is vital that all Key Stage 1 pupils who are eligible to claim Free School Meals are registered in order for schools to receive the Pupil Premium funding.
The 'Free Schools Meals Application Form' is available as a download below. Parents/carers can now complete one application for all of their children – whether it is for Free School Meals (so Year 3 and above who must pay for their school lunches) or for their child’s school to receive Pupil Premium only (i.e. for KS1 children who already receive a free school lunch).
